Here are a few pointers and DIY masks that can help you keep your skin moist and supple throughout the season:
Olive oil goodness
Make a DIY scrub using 2 table spoons olive oil, brown sugar and a few drops of honey, to scrub away the dryness of your face & body. This is sure shot recipe, as olive oil is just the perfect moisturizing agent and honey nourishes your skin.
Aloe vera gel
Not every one is a fan of using heavy moisturizers in winters, you can extract a spoon full of aloe vera gel and mix it with Vitamin E oil, from a capsule and apply it as a moisturizer in the winters to get rid of itchy, flaky skin.
Banana Face Mask
Take a ripe banana, mash it up, mix it with a few drops of honey and apply to your face for a nourishing effect. Keep it on for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off. Do this once a week for maintaining your skin’s health.
Coffee & Turmeric Duo
Caffeine & turmeric both are rich in antioxidants and are anti-inflammatory in nature. Take 1 spoon of ground coffee, powdered turmeric and yogurt. Mix them all up, apply this mask, and leave it on for 15-20 mins. Wash it off with warm water and watch the glow that comes after.
